    While many other great burgers have been born in this city (Shake Shack, Burger Joint, etc.), this luxe is the one that best encapsulates the things New York loves—quality, decadence, and money.

    Tuna crudo, mulles are the best ever, the risotto is not the best, although looks good. House wines are great.

    First, have the Paper Plane drink, classic drink and a must have. Ask for the burrata as hours d’oeuvres. Next the Mesclun Salad or the Burger. Amazing

    Yes it's one of the best burgers in Manhattan, but also one of the best plates of fries. Be warned: their preference is to undercook a bit.

    Black label burger is KING. Don't get fancy with it - order it as the house recommends. You won't be disappointed

    The Black Label burger is more of a meat experience than a regular burger. The onion and the sweet bread compliments it perfectly. Great interior and location as well.

    I really don't know how to describe the black label burger. You have to try it yourself to get that wonderful experience. The service is awesome!!

    At the end of the day its anothet burger place with fancy prices. When trying their steak it was uneatable, the oxtail foi greue was terrible. If all you want is to have a good burger its a good place

    That burger 🍔.... be careful cause medium rare is way more on the rare / raw side, but it is delicious nonetheless.

    First time really loved this place. The food , people and ambience very low key and fun. Bone marrow was excellent and the black label burger yummy. Definitely make a reservation.

    I mean, wow. The Norwegian salmon, the marrow, the beet salad, the burger; all phenomenal. Plus, beautiful classic atmosphere. Love this place.

    The Black Label burger is the greatest burger that I've ever eaten. It's made of prime dry-aged cuts of beef. Even the fries are outstanding. You won't regret it.

    The Black Label Burguer is AWESOME, medium or medium rare. The blonde waitress is not THAT cute and doesn't like to suggest the house's specialties. But... nevermind. Enjoy the place and your burguer!

    Start with a Manhattan. Then order a nice glass of red with the Black Label Burger. One of the best "high end" burgers I've ever had.

    You need to try their burger at some point of your life if you're in NYC. The history of this place is astounding, and the old school vibe is still there.

    It can be difficult to walk in and get a seat here so plan ahead. Get the burger like everyone says to do, you'll be pleased (unless you don't eat meat...).

    I came with four friends and the waitress said it best: "Get 2 burgers and get them split so you can each have half. Order the steak & we'll slice it and then pick something else to share." Bestest.

    Established 1937. Interior is mostly original, but menu has been upscaled by new owners. "Parisian steakhouse meets classic New York City tavern." Once visited by all from Beat Poets to Joe Gould.

    Probably the best bone marrow I've ever had. Definitely get that and the pork sausage appetizer to start. The black label burger is a no-brainer

    For $26, their signature Black Label Burger better be amazing…and it is. Topped with caramelized onions, it tastes as amazing as it looks. Get it and your stomach will never be happier.

    just go when it opens, sit at bar. start w the marrow (it's enough for three), then order all the rest of the food they offer.

    One of our favorite places for dinner. Get there early and get a seat at the bar if you don't have a reservation. The roasted bone marrow and chocolate soufflé are two of our favorites!

    The odd cocktails. Try the pistachio De La Rosa. A margarita with pistachio syrup. A nice quiet place to have a romantic conversation. Yet crowded.

    Go when seating opens at 5:30 p.m., you have a good chance of getting a table even without a reservation. The Black Label burger is good but not worth $25 or better than Shake Shack.

    The Black Label Burger is definitely worth it. Yes pricey but great tasting. The ambiance is nice and would be great for a date.

    What a special space, cozy and intimate while absolutely buzzing. We went with the black label burgers but the marrow looked incredible.

    Black Label Burger truly is in a class of its own. Damn you Pat La Freida you genius. Normal burgers will no longer cut the mustard.

    Black label burger was absolutely amazing BUT the tables layout is horrible. Too close to my neighbors and its like I'm part of their conversations. Go with a group of 4 and get your own table.

    Keith McNally’s hotspot is famous for its Black Label burger but go against the fad and try the Bone Marrow, scary name but the caramelized shallots/crostini accompaniments make this dish perfect
