Interesting alternative entertainment such as a water acrobatics act and indoors children’s playground, on top of the usual animal exhibits.
It’s mostly indoors rides, so good to visit in winter cos crowds are thinner. Great fun for kids.
Friendly staff and good cuts of meat grilled over white hot charcoal. Min. order 1 portion of meat per person, try the marinated one, it’s good!
Try the pizza and pasta instead, better than the brunch items. Black pork pepperoni pizza had just the right amount of spiciness to it. Coffee decent. Arrive early for a spot on the bean bags.
Newly renovated and a nice place to visit for an afternoon tea. Ordered Set C, which had a couple cakes, teapot (comes with brewing instructions), green tea ice cream and tangerine fredo.
Sliced pork soup has a more umami flavour than the pork bone soup, which is lighter. Prawn noodles were really delicious!
Signature Hokkien Mee is the best thing to order! Full of the charred “wok hei” flavour in the frying of the noodles in broth with the squid, prawns and pork belly.
Highly recommended for the extensive displays and fun information bits. Check out the tall ship!
Great views of the city from up top. Was a filming location for The Batman too!
Interesting tour that brings you onto the factory floor to see how the beer gets made and bottled. It’s not crowded so we could walk around the small museum with our beers and play some games too!

Fairly popular, come early to avoid waiting. The scallops and mussels were great, so was the scampi. Great little restaurant by the harbour.
Worth popping by for a bit to have a look at the bridge and for great views of the Glen.
Fairly easy walk to see the pools, though you’d wish more people would just appreciate Mother Nature with their eyes and not use the pools as a children’s water theme park.
Don’t miss the boat trips to see seals. We went up close and it was excellent.
Fish and chips were fresh and huge portion, and chicken roulade was very nicely cooked with creamy mashed potatoes. Non-alcoholic elderflower wine was delicious too.
Come early when it’s quieter and wander amongst the sheep, taking in the majesty of the glacier-carved landscape.
Great hike but do be considerate with your photo taking. Don’t hog a scenic spot for 30 minutes being a poseur when others would like a photo there too.
Gem of a place which we chanced upon. Great service and food! The pork and beans on toast was really good!
There is a gentler path to bring you up to a viewpoint for those unable to make the steep climb up. Still great views all around!
Excellent accommodation! We had a BBQ on the deck and made full use of it during our stay :)
Hip new cafe with interesting food! Try sitting at the counter by the window to people watch. The raspberry tart was rather good, not too sour.
Very interesting little shop selling handicrafts. Owner was very nice, she asked if we wanted a cup of tea while we browsed!
