    Go to the bar and order a Singapore Sling! Best sling in SF. :) Dinner is really pricey here btw.

    The Slanted Door is one of my favorite places to dine in San Francisco. How gorgeous is the view? Love the cellophane noodles with crab. It's a must for tourist & LOCALS.

    The move here, one I make on practically every San Francisco visit, is the late lunch c. 215pm when the bar has cleared out and the sunlight shifts. Chicken claypot did the trick this time. Next?

    The restaurant's name comes from the literal slanted door entrance at its original loc. Different family members built the floor, door, ceiling, etc. Bad communication led to a poorly built entrance!

    Service was pretty terrible. Food was okay, but with all the hype, I expected better. Favorite was probably the Crispy Veggie Spring Rolls. The Shaking Beef was pretty good, Crab Noodles bland.
