    Un ristorante californiano davvero superbo! I calamari arrostiti sono divini (ma non quanto quelli nostri, 'mbuttunati!!!) ciò che fa la differenza è il contorno di olive, patate e conserve di limone!

    Custard French Toast is really amazing. Half of it is good for 1 person, if you order sides it's better to share. The full size is 2 slices for 4 people. The mocha is good. Gwen it's really kind!

    Searched high & low and nopa still has the best burger and fries in sf. Request medium-rare and cheddar cheese. Smoked trout bagel and half order of custard french toast is the perfect brunch.

    Amazing atmosphere. Awesome drinks. Even better food! My boyfriend and I shared the burger & the pork chop per recommendations from Foursquare -- Wow! Friend's ummy veg fish also pictured!

    That burger (📷), and that pork chop, and all the small plates (anchovies, asparagus salad, lamb bucatini), were all superb. Add to that an impeccable wine list and fine service for top marks!

    Outstanding. No longer open super late but this modern bar and grill fires on all cylinders — outstanding service, generous portions of modern American food, and great cocktails. Fried chicken ftw!

    Time and time again I go back for the pork chop - an absolute must, as well a their chicory salad (winter seasons), lamb tartare, and look no further than a side of charred broccoli.

    A spectacular meal, worth every minute you wait (go across the street to Namu or the Ethiopian place). The pacing was perfect and sitting at the chef’s counter is a joy. Oh, and get the pappardelle.

    Love the ambience. The place is very hygienic, staff care a lot about how the food is plated and served. Limited veggie options! I liked their crunchy avocado toast.

    A solid neighborhood restaurant turning out tasty cocktails and delicious, hearty plates, the star is the pork chop. Sit by the kitchen and watch them fire hundreds in an evening, all to perfection.

    If biscuits are on the brunch menu, get them! Recommend getting a 1/2 order of french toast as it's huge and almost nauseatingly custardy. Promise you'll feel better post-meal.

    Just about everything here is great, but the burger and pork chop are outstanding. They've also got a phenomenal wine list so be sure to ask for a pairing.

    #1 brunch, hands down. Custard French toast is gooey perfection. Savory egg dishes, like with sausage, rock. Sit upstairs for optimal people watching.

    One of our favorite meals ever. Fusilli with Olive Oil Poached Yellowtail, Pappardelle with Nine Hour Bolonese, Porkchop with Horseradish Cream, and Huckleberry Buttermilk Panna Cotta were to die for.

    Just about any restaurant open until 1am in SF should get an award, but this place offers stellar modern Italian and American fare at a late hour. Little Fried Fish were the perfect alcohol sponge.

    Dinner was so delicious. Great wines! The menu is seasonal which highlights fresh in season produce. Everything is great can’t go wrong with anything you try! Make a reservation far is advance!

    Sounds boring but the burger is what you need to get. You won’t be disappointed. You can jazz up your meal with goat cheese and fresh strawberry crostini, but get the burger.

    Burger, freshly cut salad and gin. Gin Gin and again Gin. Everything is freshly made, you get it from the beginning when you see the chefs trying their masterpieces. Worth a visit.

    If you get the burger, get it medium rare. Comes out perfectly crusted with a bit of pink. Delicious!

    The flatbread, the Pinot Noir, the baked beans are all excellent. The vegetable tagine was slightly overcooked, the avocado toast was a bit mushy. Go early and hover around the communal table

    Very very boozy cocktails and an excellent burger (cheddar, medium rare is my usual choice). If you're looking for a seat at the bar or open tables, be ruthless. Plenty of assholes will sneak in.

    Amazing food. Their eggs, French toast, coffee, burger, all is good. Can't go wrong here. Great lively ambience. Service staff is great. Recommend going later in the day to avoid long waiting.

    Had the burger and spaghetti, delicious! Walked in around 10pm on a Thursday and got seated at the chef's bar right away without a reservation. Fun place to sit and watch the chefs

    Expect perfect execution. 8 staple entrees, but flavor and sides change with what's fresh at the market. The small plates are usually more bold and inventive flavors, 2-3 of those also make a meal.

    The big sister restaurant of Nopalito- more upscale, just as delicious. Brunch is great. Reservations are tough - walk in if you're okay with a bar seat/communal table, or go at an odd hour.

    Everything is delicious here. Make a reservation a month in advance if you want to eat at an American supper time. If you're ok with eating at 11pm or midnight, then walk in instead.

    Amazing amazing amazing! Every dish was wonderful. The service was excellent. The prices are even reasonable, it's just the drinks where it starts piling on. Worth it though. AND OMG THE SOPAIPILLAS!

    This place is always buzzing and busy. Make reservations way in advance or plan on waiting for at least two hours. Definitely with the wait though! I love their seasonal salads & their pork chop. Num!
