The is food described as “family-style,” - if your family makes things like the truffled-ricotta-and-honey combo is on the seasonal crostini menu, consider yourself lucky.

Grub Street off-menu dish: Wood-Fired Guinea Hen. "Every Tuesday, the kitchen gets a dozen guinea hens from Vermont, a number so small that they don't let the general public know about it."

Reservations are hopeless. Best bet is to try your luck by walking in and hanging at the bar. We waited only 20 minutes or so. Food was very good, but not sure it lives up to the hype.

Perfect for a weekend brunch. Buzzing, but the space is large enough that it is still peaceful. Beautiful rich dark wood decor is also calming
