For me the best coffee I found in NYC. No seating available, a bit crowded in the morning. Perfect flatwhite even if not on the menu :)

Very busy in the morning but totally worth the wait. The coffee varietal served here is very smooth, medium roast and hint of nuttiness. Have it in any form, espresso, drip, cold.

Great coffee, but remember it's cash only and you can't charge it to your room if you're staying at the Ace. The guys who work there are super friendly.

Probably the best flat white in New York. Definitely good cortados. Standing/leaning room only unless you can rustle a seat in the ace hotel lounge behind it

The coffee snob’s favorite drip is in the Ace Hotel at Stumptown. Lines are always out the door, but a cup of this stuff is worth the wait.

This place always has a line for a reason: the people of Portland know what they're doing with their beans. Come at a slower time and enjoy your java in the Ace Hotel lobby with a good book.

If you plan to stay & line is long, sit down & order while waiting in comfort in amazing Ace Hotel lobby. You'll also get your coffee sooner than standing in line.

Great coffee, better cold brew. Friendly staff always good for a quick chat during the order process. Seating in the hotel is hit or miss.

Get a seat with an outlet and charge your phone/laptop. There are outlets along the wall to the left - not only at the table in the middle. And yes, they do make the perfect latte.

Friendly staff, good coffee. The dimly lit, open lobby makes for a great place to sip your coffee while chatting with a friend.

Inside of hotel has seating for stump town customers. Dark underground feel. Couches and tables for computer work. Charming. Great to get work done

One of the best coffee places in town. Baristas that not only make good drinks, but also dress well. Go sit down in the Ace Hotel's lobby for a while. Hang out or use the free wifi!

Macchiato will cure whatever ails you. Amazing sandwiches right around the corner. Head west out of Ace and make a left at the corner. Right past Opening Ceremony.

Good coffee, but you can't sit in the bar. When I was visiting the lounge was occupied so I had drink my coffee standing - doesn't change anything about the coffee obviously.

usually nothing short of a massive line, with prickly baristas (i know, shocking). worth waiting if you're going to work in Ace lobby afterwards. otherwise there's plenty of good coffee elsewhere.

Originally from Portland, this NYC transplant has friendly baristas and great cofee. Ask for your drink in a mug and relax in the nearby lounge.

Strong coffee! Get a cup and sit at the lobby or ace hotel. Dark interior so best for a rainy days.
