Line gets quite long here but it moves quick and the baristas are fairly efficient. Great espresso drinks. Grab one and go chill in the Ace lobby, if you can find a seat.

BusetoFebbraio 1, 2015Portland coffee roaster has expanded to NYC and has made it's mark on the NYC coffee scene. The staff is as good as the coffee. And the coffee is absolutely phenomenal. Worth visiting.

Flagship location that's always busy but still finds time to make winning espresso drinks. The bakery that supplies their pastries, especially the almond croissants is amazing.

Ask for the "Flyover State" from the secret menu. It's amphetamines ground up and sprinkled on the surface of an Americano with extra hot water.

Never thought I'd say that as I drink espresso only, Stumptown barista convinced me to enjoy a latte & enjoy I did!- If your out-of-town guests think Starbucks is the best thing since sliced-bread, bring them here & they will change their mind! Get your coffee to-go and drink it in the adjoining Ace Hotel lobby.

They have amazing donuts! Try each one. It's a takeaway cafe, with no seating. This is my favorite coffee place. I dream of their almond milk lattes when I'm away and it's usually my first AM stop when I'm back in NYC.
