There are free sealable plastic bags at the security check tray conveyor belt. Don't bother buying any before.

This place, really is not pleasant when it is busy. Number 1 airport lounges have now opened at 2 locations I believe which makes it more bareable....

Use one of the 4 other London airports. Since the takeover, this airport has become the pits. 200% increase in car park charges, reduced bus services and over an hours wait for luggage.

Avoid a late arrival if at all possible. The passport gates always have a massive queue. Airport needs some serious upgrades. Not fit for purpose.

Worst airport design. Make you walk in circles after security, trying to sell you things. And after, you still don’t see your gate. Also you need to put your liquids into plastic bags. #plasticwaste

In the orange short stay park it says 2.50£ for 30 minutes... But they actually charged me 5.30£ for 15 minutes parking. Be aware...
