Do visit the Hampstead Heath Ponds which is set in the midst of the gorgeous heath, the three ponds offer a slightly chilly dip surrounded by wild shrubbery!

Don't loose your boarding pass. With Ryanair you will not be able to fly. Reprint it at the computers next to WH Smith(only 40min before possible).don't ask staff they will not help you anyway

Do not spend a night here unless you have to. Its very very very cold and almost all the stores/restaurants are closed.

Probably the worst airport in London. Long queues, and terribly organised. Avoid if at all possible.

Bad bad bad! Slow passport control, transportation is poor and the airport itself looks like an airbase from the fifties. Try avoiding it if you can.

Probably the worst airport I’ve ever experienced only one lane was open for 500 people trying to catch their plane didn’t even matter if you are flying business class.

Really unpleasant place to be. No free wi-fi. Only few sockets and you need to look very good to find them. And if you are so "lucky" to stay here for the night better take a bottle of scotch with you

Parking costs are criminally expensive. Park at McDonald's & wait there. Check in queues notoriously bad. Departures area cramped.

Poor airport. Too many passengers. Gates for internal flights don't go up until 25 mins before departure. If you arrive early prepare to be bored. Security staff are the rudest outside the US.
