- The Corcoran GroupGiugno 14, 2013Best authentic Spanish experience in town. Start with Croquettas and a pitcher of Sangria, followed by Mariscada in green sauce. End your lovely evening with a walk around the lively West Village.
- Amanda LynnAgosto 9, 2015Very classy, look at my date! Oysters in ajillo are a must, save some bread to dip in the sauce. Paella wasn't as authentic as my grandpa's but the seafood was as fresh as can be & easily serves two.
- Thomas GreenOttobre 13, 2013Awesome, hard to find busy Old School Spanish. Great Paella, veal dishes, and the mussels are pure heaven. The waiters are in their 60s and we're not sure if they are speaking English, but who cares.
- Alice NamGennaio 7, 2016A long wait around dinner time, but sort of worth it. Great lobster paella, good sausage appetizer, and okay garlic soup. Might come back for paella and mussels
- Adrian PhillipsFebbraio 4, 2016Old school restaurant that doesn't take reservations. The mushrooms stuffed with crab meat are a good snack. Be sure to get a paella though, it's big enough for two. Cheap cocktails, around $7 here.
- Robert AccetturaMarzo 25, 2015This place has been here forever. The staff is the same. The food quality/portions are the same. That's why it lasts. For the portion/quality it's a good value. Can split the paella between two.
- Rachel PerlinGiugno 23, 2014Mussels in green sauce! Also this place is awesome, has a great old school vibe and doesn't take a stupid break in between serving food like those other trendy west vill places.
- Lucy MariaNovembre 15, 2020The shrimp in white wine sauce is mmgood! Service was great and the Martinis are nice and strong!
- Lena InozharskayaMaggio 1, 2014It was founded in 1941. Amazing place! Shrimp in Mild White Wine Sauce is highly recommended. And Sangria of course :)
- Kurkina AnnaAprile 9, 2019So many kinds of sangria to choose from and to get even thirstier. Excellent deal on paella for a large group. Patatas Bravas never fail.
- Carlo MLuglio 6, 2013I never thought I would ever find damn good Pulpo A La Gallega outside of Spain and boy was I wrong! A must have.
- Debanjan DeyMarzo 28, 2013Absolutely fantastic food. Tried the octopus, broiled swordfish & veal chops. Lipsmacking entrees and additional appetizers :)
- Jessica WickhamGennaio 26, 2017Lovely traditional restaurant with delicious paella - go for the seafood option!
- Julia BondarAgosto 25, 2011Even after living in Spain for six months, this place continues to top my list for best paella. Yum. Definitely get the Valenciana.
- MichelleOttobre 17, 2014Service a little slow and the food ok. Would give it a miss- plenty of lovely restaurants in the west village !
- Michelle WendyDicembre 5, 2013I've never found their food to be that good or seemingly authentic. No tails were used in the lobster paella & my veggie paella had overcooked veggies in perfectly cooked rice...weird. Weak sangria👎
- Robert BelcianoGennaio 28, 2017The bread was cold and stale, the empeñadas were dry and kind of cold, the hot garlic sauce in the shrimp was oily with no flavor, and I am pretty sure the shrimp are frozen.
- Liz SeiterFebbraio 16, 2013Very friendly staff, great good and large portions. Definitely a favorite!
- Mikala McCauleySettembre 8, 2019Scallops in white sauce were great. Bread is cold when it comes out, Rice was dry also thought it was weird it came w my scallops... I thought sangria was very mediocre.
- Laura M.Agosto 29, 2012Amazing paella and a serious deal in lobster - doesn't get much better than this!
- Maria PMaggio 25, 2011Red sangria, black bean soup, and chicken with garlic sauce with saffron rice. Enough said!
- Can't imaging eating seafood anywhere else. Try anything on the menu, everything is great. The best!
- Herederos del Marques de Riscal. Rioja reserva 2007. Best Spanish red Wine.
- The best seafood in the city for over 69 years and still managed with perfection.
- The sangria is fantastic and so is the service!
