Exhibitions were okay, mainly targeted for kids. The "science through the ages" was the best, less kids running around too.

Don't want to buy your kids stuff in the museums amazing gift shop only to drag it around London? Buy it online and have it waiting when you get home. The museums online store is great.

This museum is amazing, and is a must see! The best part is that is free. Also cheek the Natural History museum next door.

A lot of things to see, like engine and machines about the modern age. Visit the Natural History Museum nearby as well!

Check out the programme of special events and late-night openings - there is almost always a bar for the grown ups!

Музей понравился, интересный, почти весь интерактивный, за исключением первого этажа, поэтому знание английского обязательно, в ином случае интерактивная часть будет для вас бесполезна.

Free night for adults on the last Wednesday of every month called Lates. Sounded super cool, but the nights should be called 'Climbing Stairs and Waiting in Lines'.

Surprisingly, the Science Museum hosts great photography exhibitions on a regular basis: Parr, Talbot, Ray-Jones, Soth etc. Check them out!

When you're ready for a break, the shakes at the level five cafe are amazing - choose an ice cream flavour then add cookies or berries or peanut butter. Amazing.

Mostly for children but still good for a quick tour. Also the shop was filled with very nice and interesting merchandise

Amazing! Their display of aircrafts and engines are breathtaking. Also communications, maths and computing. Avoid it on early weekdays, annoying shouting and running school kids everywhere

If you are keen on sone real science, better go through all the old exhibition first, in the main hall and upwards. Still, there are some 'new format' exhibitions, quite childish, they are separated.

This world-famous museum has more than 300,000 items. Make sure to see the first jet engine, reconstruction model of the DNA, and Stephenson's Rocket. Free, except for some temporary exhibitions.

Skip the queues for the natural history museum and come here instead. Far superior and much more fun for kids. Also checkout the V&A opposite.

Late nights are the best. Each one has a theme! Adults get to explore the muesum without kids! Brilliant idea in my book.

Start from the top floor and head down. Easier on the legs and see the exhibits.

I used to love this museum growing up. However, now it feels all the interesting absorbing installations are being replaced by touch screen games and interactive screens. It's a shame.

Give yourself adequate time to explore this giant of a museum, at least 2 hours. It's huge and packed with lovely knowledge for all ages including live size planes.

A beautiful museum dedicated to science, it is like a sanctuary for me. Go and discover! Until June 2013, Web Lab Experiments will continue by Google. Don't escape this one!
