"Listening Post" is hidden away, but a wonderful piece of connected and constantly evolving art - take 10 minutes out to sit and immerse yourself.

Lates (last Wednesday each month) have a fun atmosphere - a chance for grown-ups to interact with science as kids do. The museum also seems to use the SCVNGR app sometimes, which can supply fun 'tasks

If you get hungry, Deep Blue restaurant on the ground floor, opposite IMAX cinema, have delicious veggie burger!

L'expo gratuite est très courte et peu intéressante pour les adultes. Les enfants par contre trouverons leurs bonheur à la condition de parler anglais.

check out the Garden in the basement then Launchpad on the top floor if you have young kids, it will keep them busy all day!

'Who am I' is the best part of the museum. Also stop in at Energy Cafe, nice place to drink coffee.

Visit the Atmosphere Gallery on the 2nd floor – lots of immersive, interactive displays. On the last Wednesday of every month there's fun and free adults-only evening entertainment too. Leggi tutto

Some of the areas are available from certain different floors. Free map is very usefull for finding those.

Man this place is busy and hot (temperature wise)! Also: the Energy Café seems to be the busiest of them all.

Food is a teenie bit pricey here but there is a great picnic area on level 3 near the launchpad. Tends to clear out by 2pm for those who can hang on for a late lunch.

The new Wellcome wing has a lot of empty space, lots of interactives but very few artefacts of interest. Stick to the main body of the museum.

A fun stop on any family tour. You can easily spend 5- 6 hours exploring this free museum, where science comes to life.

I know it's #free but u expected a lot more. Not a great deal has changed during the past decade. Not a fantastic place for younger kids

If you're planning on eating in the restaurant by the imax, send someone ahead to queue. There can be 30min + wait at weekends.

Picnic rained off, so we hit the basement at the science museum. Kids are happy with with the garden area, but still getting wet!

Absolutely superb food in the Deep Blue Diner. We saw the Energy Show in the IMAX - if it's still on when you go, HIGHLY recommend it.

Went to the Wildlife Photography Exhibition with pre-booked tickets. The exhibition was beautiful but it was just too busy. It was nearly impossible to see certain photos.

If you like retro-exhibitions, head up to the first floor communications gallery, whose labels clearly haven't been updated since the early 90s...possibly the 80s.

more like Science History museum. Don’t expect modern interactive displays which engages the kiddos. It’s a retelling of achievements for adults

6 floors of exhibits! Especially love level 3 with the flying machines. There's also a simulator ride and 3D show on flying.
