Well stocked store, their hot meals are excellent, spacious layout and during weekends they have samples to offer. You can even grind your own peanut/almond butter. They also have coupon books
An Ottawa classic, speedy service, always delicious, the shawarma sandwiches may seem small but they are very filling and tasty. The falafel is great too, an all-around winner!

Amazing interiors but always busy; it's inside of an old Bank building and the architectural details are quite distracting, but they're used to students working there; even have private offices!
Have to pay for entrance all the time but the interiors are beautiful. Make sure to check out the adjacent chapels for contrasting architecture. Very low lighting but definitely a must see!
Great Chinese food, the dim sum was fresh, very funny servers and hosts; very busy on a Saturday evening but worth it. Apparently the locals recommend it too which is quite important!

Recently renovated rooms and my rate was really affordable, but the breakfast (which was included with the room price in fairness) was utterly horrible, not food poisoning bad, but tasteless bad
Free tours in both English and French and a great boutique and restaurant. Definitely a must see!
Sam's bistro is nicely renovated and offers great views of the river and the prices at least for lunch were not obscene which is always important. Other the hotel is very fairytale-like!
Old school steakhouse, impeccable service; the filet mignon comes flambée at your table; the lobster bisque is also excellent, and the champagne cocktail wasn't too sweet
