Brooklyn Smorgasbord is too packed for you? This is a smaller version with great food and a beer garden. Perfect lunch spot in the summer.

MarinaLuglio 27, 2013Try the delicious tacos from Oaxaca, go for the Potato Poblano or Ceviche if you're vegetarian. Manducatis Rustica pizza has a great crust, thin but not too crispy, the guys making the pizza are hot!
The market has more vendors during the warmer seasons when it's held outside compared to when they have it indoors. Overall, nice way to check out funky things and eat yummy food
Grab some grub from a selection of local LIC vendors, and don't forget to wash it down with a brew from the Rockaway Brewing Company, located just across the street from the entrance
Vendors worth checking out: Butcher Bar (brisket), Sweet Silk (smoothies), Itizy handcrafted ice cream. There's also a designer, Laila Alexander who displayed some gorgeous hand designed bags.
The bobotie (meatloaf) from the South African place is amazing! Impressive array of food vendors (huge number of dessert options, some vegan and/or gluten free). Very fair prices.
New Amsterdam BakingLuglio 20, 2013Sample one sample many, all are extremely delicious. Try the Chocolate Preztzel, Buttermilk Bourbon or the Blueberry Lemon with Ginger glaze.
CompassMaggio 15, 2014What it lacks in the airtight hipster curation you’ll find in Brooklyn and downtown Manhattan, it makes up for with homespun charm and truly local vendors you won’t find outside of LIC.

Look for the khao man gai booth. Thai Street food made up of an Amazing chicken and rice dish with a side of broth. I get cravings for it. Seriously.

Jean 💜Giugno 15, 2013HK Street Cart's green mango salad with lemongrass chicken is probably the least greasy, most fresh and flavorful treat here. Don't forget a side of Manda's spicy bananas.
You gotta check out the Seoul Pancake booth. Everything there is great, but especially bacon & cheese one! You'll leave wanting more!

- I was totally sleeping on this last time, but the cod roll w/ spicy sauce from Corner Fish Market is stellar.
Try the olde fashioned kettle corn. It's amazing. They have local boylan sodas too, black cherry is the way to go!!

Make sure you get a LARGE brisket sandwich from Butcher Bar or else you'll be sad.
