Very cute pub with a surprising number of tables, including a charming courtyard. Scotch Egg, burger, and steak and mushroom pie were all solid.

Their bacon burger with sesame buns is very good, one of the best I tasted. Good selection of beer and generous selection of wine. It’s a cozy place in a residential neighborhood.

On the expensive side but completely worth it if you love British food and beer. On my last visit I had Fullers London Porter, a great pub curry and sticky toffee pudding. Very friendly service too.

I think I had the greatest mashed potatoes of my life here. No joke. If they have the steak and kidney pie, I highly recommend pushing all things aside to make room for this monumental dish. Amazing.

So good! Try the chocolate pie with sea salt ice cream for dessert. Make a reservation or be prepared to sit at the communal table. Nice outdoor area, decent beer list.

If you're in search of authentic English pub food, this is your place. While we love the fish and chips, the JWF burger with bacon can't be missed.

Closest thing to a proper British pub in NYC. Chicken liver pate was great. Personally prefer soft/medium scotch eggs but still great here. Roast was good.

Grab a stool on the far end of the bar. You'll want to make friends with your bartenders - Stuart and Dan. Order the scotch egg if you're eating!!

Food is very English but delicious. Try the cocktails--they make great use of just beer and wine. And if you're lucky enough to get Renee as your waitress, all the better!

A true gem on UES. Had crumpets and corned beef hash for brunch. Delicious!! I hear the fish & chips are also a must-have. Will def be back.

The pies are so flavorful - tender meats & flaky pastry. Homemade hummus was also so awesome. Skip the grilled salmon, it’s not bad just a bit bland.

Not easy to accommodate a vegan but they rose to the occasion. Loved the tomato eggplant soup and the asparagus; great wine list too!

Wait, the Brits have good food!? Who knew. Brunch menu was delicious, especially bangers and mash. Note: no liquor license so only beer/wine, no bloody marys.

Try the white bait fish appetizer if they have it. It's an entire minnow looking fish deep fried with tarter sauce on the side. It's an adventure for the table.

Favorite UES bar. Very authentically British. Some of the coolest, nicest and cutest bartenders in town. Try the Scotch egg!
