If you want to try bits of different things - go for cheese+meat platter, which is huge and delicious, rather than sausage one that has only 4 usual pieces. Weiss radler is awesome for non-beer lovers

Yes, very touristy, but in a charming way with great atmosphere. Centuries-old beer house with great service and good food. The main room is stunning!

Come in and realize you haven’t been in a beer place before. The best beer in the whole world. Sausages (all types) are a best pick, if you’re not a fan of German cuisine.

Même si l'attente est longue, et les prix un peu élevés, vous ne pouvez pas y échapper si vous passez par Munich. Les plus courageux commandront la fameuse mass de bière (1L) ! Très sympa !

Love this place. Food is good & you can't beat the atmosphere for a true Bavarian experience.Very crowded and may have to circle hall a few times to find seats.Don't be shy as you can share tables.

Must check this place out. Traditional Bavarian beer house with very good food and live music. The place is huge, but always very crowded and extremely noisy!

An essencial in Munich. Bavarian tradition & history. Live music, funny place. Order a pretzel + some beers and shout "PROST!" when make a toast! Don't forget to go upstairs, at least to have a look!

Extraordinary beerhouse!The best i have ever seen!The beer is local, tastes really really good and is served in large quantities (0,5-1lt).The food is absolutely amazing!!!! Dedinitely worth visiting!

They might say this place is a tourist trap, but I had a great time: wonderful beer and food, fair price, decent service. Try blaukraut and a potato cake called knödel. 1st floor = no crowd.

Huge beer hall, always crowded and you share the table with completes strangers but that's part of the charm. A traditional band plays music and the food is great too. A must visit in Munich.

Leave your hipster cool at the door and come in to have beer chugging singing fun! Order pork knuckle, obstler shots, pretzel, say prost, sing, drink and be merry. Tourist trap? Whatever! Fun!!

An obvious tourist spot but still worth seeing. I suggest catching a beer there during the day and then heading to a less touristy Biergarten like the Augustiner at night.

Легендарная пивная! Атмосферно, вкусно, конвейер. Помимо огромной территории здесь вкусное пиво, еда и большие порции. Посетить однозначно стоит, но слишком шумно из-за большого количества людей.

First place in Munich we had dinner at. Seat yourself (you can ask other patrons to share their table when busy). They have English menus. As well be ready to order when they come.

These people drink gallons of beer! They make Americans look like wimps. Great to visit during any World Cup. Amazing atmosphere of football fans. Everyone is friendly. Tip to Americans... Don't tip.

The place is really nice, the dishes are delicious and so is the beer! But make sure your order has been made properly, I was fooled by a waiter for 40min and had to ask to another one for a pint.

Wir haben sehr gut dort gegessen, die Bedienung war flott und ausgesprochen nett. Das selbst gebraute Bier war hervorragend. Überhaupt ist Bamberg immer wieder eine Reise wert. Wir kommen wieder!

A brilliant Bavarian experience. The steins of beer and pork knuckle were a winner. Cracking band playing throughout the evening. A must visit when in Munich.

One of the best restaurants in Munich. Sit downstairs in the "Schwemme" for the real Bavrian HB feeling, or go upstairs to the equally authentic, quieter restaurant. Same kitchen! All food is great

Be aware it is expensive here. Although I recommend the ruß’n to drink. It is a white beer with lemonade. Also don’t wait to be seated, you seat yourself where ever you want. ask for English menus

Don't be shy! Grab a table and the waiters will come to you. They take card here, but the pretzels that are carried around the room by the waitresses are cash only!

Обязательное место к посещению в мюнхене. На 1м и 3м этаже играет оркестр,очень много шумных веселый компаний. Вкусный холодный салат из картофеля и напитки.

Huge beer hall, the must-go place when in Munich. Home for the world-famous beer HB, make sure you've spotted the toilets BEFORE you start drinking. Too bad there's always plenty of tourists...

THe big Oktoberfest-style pretzels sold in the Schwemme by pretzl-girls are delicious. Kitchen is open till midnight or later, though a smaller menu is offered after 10pm. Get chicken and apfelstrudel

Good atmosphere and great live band. Food is ok. The term crackling we thought meant crispy pork skin, which it was not. The schnitzel was not as crispy as expecting.

Great place to eat and drink beer with a traditional environment. Be careful with the menu, you could have a great dinner o get disappointed. Anyway, enjoy!!

Традиционная баварская пивная с историей. Тьма народу, шум, гвалт, ещё и оркестр. Пиво и колбаски вкусные, неплохой апфельштрудель, брецели гигантские.

Ряды кружек под замками, которые Вы можете увидеть в центре зала - это именные кружки завсегдатаев, которые ходят сюда 10-15 лет 1-2 р в неделю, их рекомендуют 2 завсегдатая у которых уже есть кружки)

The building itself is beautiful and they have a traditional band which makes for a nice atmosphere. Service isn't great and the food is below average. Augustiner HBhaus is significantly better.

Good city center alternative to beer houses at the Octoberfest Grounds, Theresienwiese where its difficult to get in especially when you are late during the day. Octoberfest food with live band.

This is centrally located icon and a must for visitors. There is a shop for souvenirs whether you drink there or not. The atmosphere is pure fun and enjoyment

With all do respect to its history, the place is extremely packed, very hard to find a seat. You bearly hear what you talk to the person next to you due to loudness of the crowd.

Decididamente, deve ser visitada. Um marco histórico da cidade. Não deixe de tomar o chopp de 1 litro! It's a must visit place, a city landmark! Don't without drinking the 1 liter beer mug!
