Buggy/cart rides to your terminal are generally positioned nr the elevator/escalator. Just ask the driver to whisk you to your terminal. Mine even helped me with my bags!

DXB is a quiet airport, meaning they don't make announcements. You MUST be at your gate 45 minutes prior. 20 minutes prior, you may lose your seat

The airport is nice. Smaller than Abu Dhabi but has nice shops and an open long hall type of seating area by departure location. The wifi is limited though which is a minus.

Grand looking and clean. Efficient processing of passengers. Free WiFi, but slow. Most staff speak English. Private taxi to Jumeirah costs ~125 AED.

'free' WiFi for 30 minutes only then it's $4/hour *derp*. steps to 'actually' use it for free:1/ sign up with fake credentials 2/ clear your browser's history every 30 mins3/ repeat & enjoy ;)

I think the best place in Dubai is the smoking area of the lounge in A area of Airport Terminal 3.

Free wifi is one of rare things around here, even most hotels charge you for that. Duty free staff is annoying, always breathing behind your neck (I am checking a perfume not your breath, ffs!).

Well, it’s an airport... but generally very good standards here... just don’t take too long dropping somebody off as the cops 👮 will be on your case

The airport hotel is superb! If you have long transit waiting time, better to check in. I will give the hotel room we had a 4.5 star rating...

Clear signage, clean restrooms and Fast flow. It’s a silent airport ; make sure you keep an eye on your watch.

Don't forget to pick the VIP taxi service instead of the normal one.. There is not much difference between them. VIP taxi is more comfortable and clean. 30 to 50 dhs is the difference. Enjoy!

I landed & departed from Terminal 1. It's big, old, very busy. There are always constructions & rennovations. Frankly I didn't like Terminal 1. But internet is free of charge :))

Huge airport. Train shuttle to reach between terminals. Large shopping area and variety of restaurants. Metro connection to the city.

If you are departing from the A gates try Cho Goa restaurant . By far this is the best spot to sit , use your laptop , and grab a drink

It's big, it's modern and it's mindblowingly slow... Pasaport control takes decades just like check-in... Doesn't matter if it's midnight or afternoon, you will be stuck for hours.

World slowest custom immigration. 40 on queue wait for 1 hour plus. Trying to much to be the best in efficiency but still FAIL big time.

For terminal 1 Arrive at least 45 min before boarding time if you boarding pass and 2 hours if without. The walking distance from drop off till check in is a lot with metro transfer and all.

Terminal 2 is quite small but quick . Paul is under renovation:( next best thing Costa or the Marhaba lounge (could get really crowded)

Very clean, plenty options for food and shopping. There is a train service in terminal 3 connecting gates.

If you are flying with Emirates economy class, I recommend you to check in online in advance if it is possible. Otherwise, you have to stand in a looooong queue at the check in counter.

Check-in line can be long even 2.5 hours before your flight. A3 Gate doesn't let you bring in a cup of coffee even if you bought it from gate area, all drinks you buy must be sealed b4 entering A3.

If you are new to this airport, the signage is anything but intuitive. Best to ask a member of ground staff for directions.

Nice sleeping floors on the carpets behind the benches in Gates C - or if you are lucky you can get one of the comfy chairs at B16

T1 shopping is average, duty free and a few premium brands like Boss and Burberry. Plenty of restaurants. Lots of baby change locations. Smoking lounges too.

If you're lucky enough to be traveling First Class on Emirates, prepare yourself to be amazed by the First Class Lounge at Terminal 3 (and disappointed by every other airport lounge in the world).
