They're great! If you're indecisive, ask for the bar tenders choice! They do no wrong. Just give a little info and they'll bring out a GREAT drink (ie what kind of alcohol, sweet, bitter, etc).

Fantastic cocktails, can't be passed over. Look out for the lack of a double door set up. Brutal draft every time someone enters or exits in the winter.

You have to wait but you have a seating place for sure. The big cocktails was really good and strong. Very nice service.

A little bit on its high horse. The Manhattan looked good. The Negroni was too small and weak. Nice speakeasy atmosphere and glassware

Mostly enjoyed the music selection in this bar. Low light atmosphere, good cocktails and no issue finding a seat on a Sunday evening.

The best cocktail bar in EV. Decor & atmosphere are phenomenal. Pricey, but worth every penny if you're trying to impress. Try on a weeknight to avoid the wait.

Warning: once you have a cocktail here, you will no longer settle for poorly made drinks. Bartenders are some of the best in the world. If there is a wait list, get on it & head over to Vandaag.

A storefront on E 6th with wooden panels in place of windows. Death & Co. is printed on metal out front. Give your number to the bouncer at the door. He’ll call you when you can come inside.

Hands down, the best bar in New York, if not the world. You really can't go wrong unless you order a vodka soda.

Drinks are good, not great. Vibe is lively speakeasy. Crowd is whoever will wait (often A-Cityers). A/C is lacking in the summer. There are better cocktail spots, but D&C deserves its rep and history

Fantastic place to go for your first drink of the night. Go early and with a small group - they can't accommodate a party larger than 7.

Knowledgeable if not overly friendly bartenders. Bartenders choice after I said I liked Old Fashioneds were a delicious Jekyll & Hyde and tasty tequila old fashioned.

Dimly lit atmosphere. Often plays danc-ey music. Cocktails are very good (but nothing too memorable). If you really want to carry a good convo, go to milk and honey instead

go bartender's choice. tell them your favorite flavor profile and they will deliver. if you try to guess on your own from the menu you might be disappointed

I tried the Double barrel julep and the Pendennis club cocktail when I was there on my first night in NYC from STL. EXCELLENT! No need to say any more - except "JUST GO".

Put in your name and hang out somewhere else for 2 hours. Then get the truffel mac and cheese, braised pork belly, and anything alcoholic you're liver wished you wouldn't force on it.
