Chris Steele: The best plank of walleye pike I've had on any side of Lake Michigan. The steak is lovely too, but going to a place called Blue Fish for the turf seems to miss the point.
Chris Steele: Once in a blue moon they do live music here, with complimentary party platters for the fans. It's as glorious as it sounds, and turns this sleepy corner of Bowmanville into a proper rock oasis.

Chris Steele: So many wonderful games on loving display at this game store, and chances to test most of them out on open-box game nights. One catch: the staff's tastes skew complex. Get your Monopoly fix elsewhere.

Chris Steele: On a nice night, skip the long line to be seated and get your tacos from the takeout window to the left. There are too many good things to do in Wicker Park to waste your time in a 2 hr queue.
