Entire zoo is wheelchair and stroller accessible. That being said, whichever way you choose to make your loop, your first half will be uphill, and some parts are steep.

Hao LiLuglio 10, 2017I visited here on July. Although the close time is 5:30 pm, but they begin to let animals into houses at 4:30 pm, you won't see a lot after that.

Days with light rain are the BEST. We don our rain boots and go looking for the biggest puddles. The animals are more active and it feels like a private viewing with no one else around.

The new reptile house is gorgeous- never thought I would use that word for a reptile house. 100% better than the old one. Bright and spacious. Worth the trip!

WEATHER ADVICE! If it is to cold or to hot certain animals won't be out or in view. If it is below 48 degrees or feels below that chances r alot of animals won't be out. Think before you go!

KevinFebbraio 5, 2013I could watch the gorillas all day. The red panda was cute as elf and as always the meerkats rock my life.
Often-overlooked animals: the giant tortoises near the exit; the hornbills, who often flaunt food in their beaks at passersby (usually dead mice); the Koopaesque snapping turtle in the reptile house.
