I love island cuisines! Go for the lamprais and black chicken curry. They run out of the lamprais pretty quick so run don't walk.

Hit or miss, depending on your order. My Drunken Noodles (extra spicy) & Turnip Cake and Jala Beef were top notch. Friend's regular Drunken broth tasted like Shin Ramyun. Oxtail broth was v plain

Bold flavored mixian (rice noodles) dishes are the main attraction. But don't overlook the small dishes to accompany the noodles. Ghost chicken and beef tartare are two excellent choices.
Chicken rice is a must get. The spicy sauce will get you sweating in no time.
The beef curry is mild but still quite flavorful. Asian "pancakes" were soft and hit a good balance of sweet and savory, but could do with more of a crispy/flaky element.
Everything is good, take it from someone who's eaten around in SE Asia. The muah Chee and Lobak are personal faves.
Ask for Lechon Kawali, Amy's egg rolls, Ukoy or crisp shrimp fritters, Pancit, Bibingka, Adobo, & dessert must have: Flan & Halo-Halo. Chef Romy Dorotan's ice creams, too.
Spare ribs, BBQ, greens, garlic rice were all great. Shrimp were messy but tasty. My husband claims the best meal he's had in the neighborhood.
One side of the menu is a western menu and the other side is Tibetan food! Good Sha Momos! Good Bod Ja (Tibetan Butter Salty Tea)

Love this place, hard to find good HK style food in New York. Baked Pork Chop on Rice w/ Tomato Sauce is excellent here.
I can see why the locals love it. Simple chinese sit down. The drinks stood out - had the henny colada.
