EXCELLENT venue to see live performances. Bring a picnic lunch/dinner, including adult bevs, spread out your blanket and just chill. Well worth the drive from DC and MD for the experience.
Half price discount for seniors and students half hour before show begins. If you opt for this, get something to eat beforehand, as you can't enter the concession area without a ticket!

My favorite venue in the DC area. BYOB and picnic to chill on the lawn, or buy food & drinks onsite.

MargaretOttobre 18, 2017Parking is free but limited. If you have a long walk to the venue, just catch the jitney. It’s free, too.- Wolf trap should provide a low-noise fan or cooling system for nights like tonight - when the heat index is 111. It's simply humane!

The best outside venue in the DMV!!! Always get the lawn seats, bring your own food and drinks and have a party on the lawn!!

C. SOttobre 21, 2009Good outdoor venue. Get seats; you can always sit on the lawn if you like, and you have somewhere to go if it rains. Great place for a picnic while listening to music.
The ushers are friendly and helpful, be kind to them.
If you sit on the lawn, don't expect to see much. They don't have any big screens like other amphitheaters so the musicians on stage look like ants.
