Super friendly staff, interesting magazines, healthy snacks, delicious cake and excellent coffee. Definitely the place to hang out in this otherwise rather touristy part of Berlin. Love to go here.

Great coffee bar with coffee from Drop and Five Elephant. They also provide a great selection of international newspapers and magazines. Free WiFi.

Good flat white, nice quiche. Good selection of arty mags. Uses 5 elephants beans. Staff speaks English. Minimal design interior. Nice place to stop and get away from the surrounding tourist traps :)

Der mit Abstand hipsterigste Coffeeshop, den ich in Berlin kenne. Sehr guter Third-Wave-Kaffee (Espresso/Aero), kleiner Zeitungsmagazin-Laden und Laptop-Arbeitsplätze. Die Stullen sind prima.

Tolle Mischung aus Magazinen und Kaffee. Der hell geröstete Kaffee kommt von Drop aus Stockholm. Super!

Pleasant reprieve from busy Checkpoint Charlie. Excellent coffee, tasty sandwiches and baked goods, including the infamous Five Elephants cheesecake. Efficient, if somewhat reserved service.

I like this place a lot even though the design interior and music aren't really my thing. Coffees are good and the staff makes you feel very welcome. Tasty bites and a nice terrace, too.

Great coffee & sandwiches, communal table with sockets and fast wi-fi (rare thing in Berlin). Really great place to work in this boring and touristy district.

Great Great place. Very hipster. Best carrot cake I've tasted ever! If you ask for coffee they put an Americano, ask for a normal one. Good wifi. All newspapers!

The goat's cheese salad. Trust me. The coffee is expensive but it's a great, the tastiest toast in Berlin. Great selection of art magazines too.

A safe haven in one of the worst areas of Berlin. If you happen to stuck around Checkpoint Charlie - come here for great coffee, reliable wifi, power sockets and proper food.

The location, the music & the vibe are fantastic! The coffee is good but I prefer the Espressonisten tbh. 😏 They have a healthy snack selection but €4,50 for a fairly small „Stulle“ does hurt. 🙈😅

Kindergarten for creative types. Good place to work w/ free wifi & large table w/ sockets. Design, mags, books, photos; inspiring. Good music, solid filter coffee. Try goat cheese + beetroot sandwich.

Fast and reliable wifi internet. Large table with power sockets. Great quiches. One annoyance is that they only accept Mastercard and not Visa... otherwise, one of the best cafes in Berlin.

Although it's a busy place, it's quite big, so you can seat easily in 5-10min. The carrot cake is definitely the best thing. the downside is that the service is a bit slow, but justified.

The cheesecake is delicious. A recipe passed down from the grandmother of one of the staff. The German cheese and dairy take it to a new level of delicious, light and tasty. Must try.

Staff are friendly, coffee delicious and probably the cheapest flat white in the city centre! Ticks all round... Oh and hassle free wifi!

Excellent coffee shop close to Checkpoint Charlie. They carry Five Elephant coffee, have a nice selection of magazines and provide space for working. More Soho than Mission. Great spot.

Great selection of magazines but this place and its staff have a bad attitude. The epitome of 'too cool for school'. Plus the coffee is super bitter. I couldn't finish mine.

Friendly staff, nice tea and scrumptious cakes. Best spot to work in Berlin - free wifi, lots of plug sockets plus food and drinks just a few meters away :)

Super Café, leckere Rosinenbrötchen, state of the art Kaffee, eher wenige oder jedenfalls nur angenehme Touristen. Eine große Bereicherung für das Kreuzberger Ende der Friedrichstraße.

A hidden pearl in the touristic area. Authentical coffe shop with friendly staff , casual atmosphere, good brews and nice little backyard for a couple of tables.

In general, I am not a big fan of anything on Friedrichstr. and this café doesn't make much of a difference but I have to admit that their cakes are class! :) Hipster feeling on Friedrichstr... ;)

Great coffee and breakfast spot. Love the books and papers that you can read during a stay. Seems like a friendly place for work also.

The only place around checkpoint Charlie with good coffee. But quite slow and not the comfiest place of all. Lots of hipsters and tourists but also nice magazines. I like their Carrot Cake.

Great coffee place, one of the best coffees in town. If it opened every day at 8:00am instead of 8:30am I'd be here every day.

Schokomandelkuchen und Mozarella-Brot waren excellent. Der Nudelsalat etwas trocken. Massala Chai war lecker. Die Atmosphäre skandinavisch, großer Arbeitstisch im hinteren Bereich. Bücher zum Kauf.

Near tourist spot Check point Charlie with many seat and Wi-Fi if you ask after password. Good coffee from Chapter One and Swedish Drop Coffee.

2,50 Euro for a cup of coffee from a thermos is not cool, even if the beans are roasted by Five Elephant. And the Aeropress brew was more than a bit grassy. Slightly disappointed.
