Wonderful museum and great event location! Check out the Fish Soup episode of Throwdown with Bobby Flay; the Throwdown was shot on this Barge!

This place is neat! If you're up for the trek to Red Hook, Thurs. evenings and Sat. afternoons, cruise this little floating museum for free. It's been docked on Pier 44 since the mid-'90s.

bring the kids! An excellent adventure (open after school on Thursdays) with a most intriguing man who will educate and entertain. They host special events as well.
