Named after the Tuscan thoroughfare. Basic cooking is no exception, redolent with whiffs of home kitchens and hands-on Sauté 101 classes. But the soulful Italian plates served at Via Carota. -TimeOut

Came with a friend, sat outside and caught up over wine, oysters, pancetta, and chicken. All were insanely delicious. Wait staff was overly accommodating.

I liked the arrancini a lot. The Pappardelle & Cacio Pepe were both really good too. I thought the service was mediocre.

The papardelle and wild boar is excellent. Finish your meal off with a fabulous affogato.

Bustling wine bar with good outdoor seating for people watching whilst you sip. The towering plate of prosciutto is a stunner.

The taste is a bit on the salty side. I understand that more people may prefer that but I would personally recommend the other highly rated italian restaurants around here.

As special as advertised by all the word of mouth. Try to visit at off hours. The waits are pretty rough.

Wait was 30 minutes longer than estimated time and our server gave us free glasses of wine! Obviously a hip Italian food hangout, Maggie Gyllenhaal was a table over.
