Had the pasta tasting menu: corn spaghetti cacio e pepe with crab; turkey tortellini in Parmesan broth; rigatoni with smoked tomato and grilled braised octopus; orchiette with sausage. Wonderful
Expect dishes like sourdough passatelli with duck, whey, and fermented hots; sweetbread milanese with basil, lemon, and pan gratta; and olive oil ice cream with a chocolate shell.
beautiful plating. menu changes often but sesame buns (big mac chick pea style), the duck, chicken for two, and the PIECE DE RESISTANCE if you will -- the apple crumb dessert. no regrets, i promise.

Ribelle, one of the Hub's hottest new eateries and Tim Maslow's first solo venture, is an Italian restaurant in the most untraditional, cheffy, and perhaps rebellious way. And it's great.
Get there between 5 and 6:30pm for the 3 dishes for $30 deal. Favorites when we went were the truffled egg toast, carrots (trust me), rigatoni with octopus, and pappardelle. We all left happily full!
Came for brunch. Everything was delicious. Will not be eating the rest if the day. Get the bolognese if it's on the menu. Also shared the cinammon roll as a starter and dessert.
The five course pasta tasting was the most pasta I've eaten in one sitting in my life. Some of the dishes are pretty heavy but it is totally worth it. Dessert is olive oil ice cream.
We had the truffled egg toast, kohlrabi, lamb tartare, octopus rigatoni, the carrots and the olive oil ice cream -- all delicious. Also a great selection of roses by the glass.

Zagat says, "Ribelle recently launched brunch hours on Saturday and Sunday, a good time to avoid the dinner crowds while enjoying plates like a "burnt cinnamon roll" ($10) with apple butter."
Truffle egg toast, Cacio e Pepe, & the Avocado mousse are our top three picks! Give our pal Theresa Paopao a shout out and have her pour you some amazing wines!
