This is one is the most friendly and down to earth bars in Crown Heights. It's nice to have a local watering hole where ya feel like your home when you walk in the door. The owners are engaging!
Great vibe. 20 beers on tap. Pitchers and a nice backyard. Only thing I didn't like is that the backyard closes at 1am. Say hi to Melissa the bartender for me!

Easygoing bartenders, 20 taps bearing names like Ommegang and AleSmith, a chilled-out atmosphere and free pretzels—this new Crown Heights bar has all the elements of a top-notch neighborhood alehouse.
Was very pleased to see this place around the corner from my new place! Lots of beer and good bar selection. No food but they'll provide menus so you can order. Ill be frequently visiting!
No food here, but grab one of the fantastic sandwiches from the Chop Shop, located just a block away. Or some Slant Shack beef jerky from behind the bar if all you need is a snack.
The beer revolution marches further east in Crown Heights with this joint featuring 20 taps, and pitchers of beer for those warm, sunny days in their sprawling shady backyard.
Went last night. Mitch the owner subtlety let me know that he did not want people from the community to patronize here. Crowd was not diverse and he was averse to my request 2 play urban music.
