Great space for large groups - indoor and outdoor seating; building is historic on the outside and very modern inside. Tasting is reasonably priced and staff is energetic and knowledgeable.
Tasting room was kind of hard to find... Need better signs. Oldest winery in valley. Pizza, coffee, and small bites on weekends. Bring picnic items, drink their wines.
Check out the Redwood Cellar just south of the tasting room. This is the original winery built by Charles Krug in the late 1800s and became the first commerical winery in the Napa Valley!
Charles Krug is credited with establishing Napa Valley's first commercial winery in 1861, by 1889 there were more than 140 wineries in The Napa Valley.
