The roast meatstall mentioned by fellow 4SQ is 益有 (#02-56). It is in one corner on the 2nd floor. Their char siew had a coating of caramel. I enjoyed it over a plate of wantan noodles (equally yumz!)
Sliced fish soup: Mei Xiang #02-44 soup stock was so yummy, I drank d whole bowl up! They offer both sliced fish & fried fish. Order mixed "black & white" if u r uncertain :-)

Came on a Sunday. Many stalls closed. Had to use the ATM here (only 1 machine) as there were no other ATMs around the vicinity. Many foreign workers q-ing to withdraw money. Q-ed for 45 mins! Whoa!
Fried kway teow (fried flat rice noodles). Hock Kee #01-16 prepares a dry style. Generous (this plate size M: $3.50). The only thing missing from all that clanging is 'wok hei' (smokiness)

Never miss the popiah and BBQ chicken wings located at lower level. It's the best in Singapore. The chicken wings are BBQ to crisp & doesn't burnt & the popiah is wrapped with a gd bal of ingredients.
Always here on Sunday morning to try the coffee and toasted kaya / butter bread from Coffee Hut (Stall 43). Affordable and has good quality. Can also order the special fishcake from the stall behind.
