Day 3 of Antebellum South: Touring the historic plantation and its beautiful grounds under the natural wonder of 300-year-old oak trees while learning about the history of this Southern estate.
With 140 buildings and plantations are on the National Register, this town is a window to history. Explore the Southern family legacies of the Butlers, the Forts, the Barrows and the Turnbulls.
Day 5 of Antebellum South: Stepping into plantation lifestyle, we're taking in historic Natchez mansions, including a narrated tour of Stanton Hall, considered the grandest of the Natchez mansions.
Day 6: Billed the "Red Carpet City of the South," Vicksburg was the site of a dramatic siege and major turning point in the Civil War. The Old Court House Museum is one of the days' stops.
Day 7: Discover steamboating - a lifestyle born of both restless ambition and pursuit of pure relaxation. Cruise the day and night away within the distinctive Grand Saloon or your elegant stateroom.
Day 8: The Delta Cultural Center lays out Helena's antebellum roots and is home to King Biscuit Time, the nation's longest-running blues radio program. Also visit two examples of 1800s architecture.
