Need headphones? The guys at the iStore actually know what they're talking about. Very solid technical knowledge of acoustics. I was surprised and impressed.

Super boring airport. Very clean though which is always a plus. No Ubers at arrivals so take the Union-Pearson train to the first stop (about $5) and get an uber from there.
If you are in terminal one and have some time to kill before your flight, stop at Apropos for some snacks and charge your electronics. They have an ipad and charging station at every seat.
Biases aside. This is a really well thought out airport of all of the airports in NA. Thanks Toronto! 🛬

If you flight gets canceled, return your duty free bottles to the Duty Free Shop (it's open all night) otherwise with your bags already checked you will be donating them to security .
Leon OeMaggio 7, 2017I arrived at YYZ and got through immigration and customs within under 5 minutes (non-US/Canadian). Both staff was very friendly. However, it took very long until my bag was delivered

Great organic food stand by gate D21. Warning though: spendy! But you probably guessed that already ;)

James TLuglio 18, 2019If you have NEXUS or Global Entry, just follow the signs. Some people may direct you the wrong way. Follow the signs.
Free wifi available. If you have to get to gates B1 or B2 in terminal 3, leave yourself LOTS of time to get across the very long hallway to that area of the terminal.
Terminal 1, Playstation VR set near the F63-ish gates. You get to play cool ps4 games a lot of time if it's not very busy!
YashaOttobre 18, 2016Very good wifi. Make sure to open safari for terms and conditions check after connecting to wifi for better connectivity.
Don't bother waiting in front of the doors for your party. Grab a seat, hook up to some free wifi and text your group where you are sitting. It can take up to 45 mins to clear customs and get bags.
If you need a quick workout before getting on your flight, checkout the gym at this airport. Lockers, showers and a free towel !

ConnorSettembre 30, 2015Getting through security for an international flight goes from being atrocious (1 1/2 hour wait) to 0 wait depending on the day. Make sure to give yourself time.

Like every other big airports, busy most of the time, flawless some of the time. Priority security clearance really helps!
SaraSettembre 11, 2014Customs was v.Unusual process. 3 steps to get thru customs seems simple, but it was a mess & unorganized! US & CAN: make sure u scan passport in machine ahead of time or wait 2hrs in non-citizen line
Delta bag check is only CAD30(USD22)/bag. There is a bag portal machine where you can drop your bags. Need to scan your boarding pass + within weight limits for your bags to pass thru!

Marc SGiugno 30, 2016To get into the city (downtown) there is a train. Only 3 stops to Union Station. After arrival, take elevator up to parking level, cross over, go up one more level. Ticket machines are there.
Fancy new upgrades to USA customs... No need for those paper forms! But now you get your picture taken... ;)
If flying nationally check to see if the lower level security check point is open, much less of a line up than the main checkpoint...got through in 5 minutes

Thought was a great airport until today. Sent to Aisle 15 to wait a long time to even be let into customs. Don't arrive too early for your flight to US or you will wait a long time. Eat before arrival

If you don't ask, Canada Nexus passengers (without Global entry) and international visa holders are stuck forever. Food, UP Express & securit- a breeze!
If taking public transit (TTC), pay for your fare just inside the terminal from the bus stop. The red TTC machines are much better than having to deal with a TTC driver (who are often rude)
Clearing customs has gotten much easier with the new automated systems. However, you seemingly have to show your boarding pass every 20 feet. Keep it handy!
Disorganized ! Come with time. I have dealt with small airports but this is ridiculous for a airport this size.

New food outlets in T3. Upscale look at Nobel burger bar. More nutritional options for food in the go.

Food on the international side is super expensive. The cheapest option is Tim Hortons where you can get a sandwich/bagel/muffin for a decent price.
Excelente hay acceso ilimitado a internet aunque a veces se cae es aceptable. Lo malo es que todo esta diseñado para que no puedas dormir en los asientos.
