- protip: get more bang for your buck by getting the soft serve in a cup instead of a cone! they usually dont fill the inside of the cone.

- Great for a fast lunch, the beef bowl with rice is highly recommended, sushi is not the best. And if you have the time ask for udon.

- If you love salmon sashimi, get the salmon tekka don - a bowl of rice, topped with seaweed, egg, salmon roe and lots of salmon sashimi. Made fresh if ordered in the hot food section.

- Always get the sandwich bento. It's very satisfactory and cheap. But buy a bottle of water from Sunrise Mart. It's cheaper.
- Stop in for some good, cheap Japanese food. The spicy tuna onigiri is a must try! At $1.75 you can't go wrong.
- Tempura Udon is cheap and delicious - definitely the best place to get inexpensive and good quality sushi for lunch in midtown
- Excellent selection of sandwiches, bento boxes and pastries. Best matcha milk I ever had.
- try the sesame ice cream, it's really good! I'd get their half and half if you like green tea flavor too

- Free Miso soup at lunch is discontinued,but If you get a cake to stay you can get a small coffee/tea for 50cents or a large for 75cents! :)

- Tomiz is the new incarnation of what was Cafe Zaiya. The food is the same, albeit a few dollars more expensive.
