The cocktails here are amazing and diverse. It's almost a sin to just have a vodka soda or a gin an tonic! Try something new.

Why do I love the Tippler? The best happy hour. Meatpacking District location without the pretention. Great beer and cocktails. That is all. :)

Mike treated us with such disrespect at the bar...we left. Ordered a cocktail no longer on the menu “Something Wicked” and was greeted with condescension. Be nice! Ruined the vibe of our day.

Hard to find, but once you're in it's great. The cocktails are super tasty and the space is awesome.

Craft cocktails are $15. At the table they bring you the check after a round unless you leave a card for a tab. It's underground but you get cell signal.

A big crowd but not packed (still had standing room) with a photo booth by the restrooms. I had a Chelsea Smash that was good

Nice basement space but the cocktails are premixed and disappointing and our bartender was totally uninterested. The 80s-00s retro music is decent.

It's not on the drinks menu anymore but try the delicious Buzzing Black Buck - Blackwell Rum, Araku coffee liqueur, 9th street espresso, lime and ginger beer.

Pro Move: order a few apps like cured meats and awesome cheeses, then settle in for a few well made cocktails. The Derek Smalls is fantastic.

Below Chelsea Market, it epitomizes the qualities that make a New York bar popular: trendy, hard to find, and without significant markings. The difference is this one has reasonably priced drinks!

Booty Collins was excellent (spicy sweet). The Derek Smalls was good as well (cucumber/anise).

It's a nice place but the noise level is so high to carry a conversation. We liked the ambiance and staff but ended up leaving because of the volume!

The Charming Snake is a great go-to cocktail. If you've got a stronger constitution, try The Crippler.

We felt a little too old when we realized the place was packed with college students, but I saw the Sashay Away drink & knew we had to stay for one drink. It didn't disappoint! Bit expensive, though.

The basement + low lighting makes this place mysterious in a very good way. The Crippler lives up to its name.

Free coat check! Try the Top Cat and The Derek Smalls. Screaming Greenie is a frozen slushy drink. It was a bit of acquired taste for me.
