management are quite happy to let you put money behind bar and run up tab til money runs out. did that twice with our students this year. the upstairs is best for this.

Ok this place is my worse nightmare. However, I'd never have entered if I wasn't on a stag do, so you might like it!
This place is great. Really chilled atmosphere and music, friendly staff and the food, especially the American style burger, is amazing. Well worth a visit!
Best two seats are in front of the fire...Wingback armchairs, woo.
Food here is very good value for money. Monday is steak night and they have the pub quiz on. What's not to love?

Try the Salmon & Dill Fishcake starter - very tasty but I don't recommend the Cesar Salad - too dry n plain
The chef looks like Chris Moyles, redundant in the kitchen. Watches widescreen tv whilst microwaving peas
The trio of pork was absolutely melt-in-the-mouth, and the orange creme brûlée was like a mouthful of orange creme chocolate centres. I can't give a better accolade than that!
Poor choice of draught ciders but the one that they do have is comparable to strongbow. Best you can really expect from Wimborne :(
