A small glass of white wine was 6.80; a small ice-cream, I heard was 7.00, though I believe eating should not be permitted. Cats was amazing, the whole cast was dedicated and performed beautifully.

If you can choose seats sit in the mid sections as getting out can be a real pain!

This theatre was famous in the 1940s and 50s for hosting big American names like Frank Sinatra, Bob Hope, Sammy Davis Jnr, Judy Garland and Bing Crosby.

Do NOT go and see Cats! They've managed to turn the best musical in history into a Pontins' show. Dreadful.

Great theatre but avoid the bar - pricey! Head to the Argyll arms (almost opposite the theatre) for cheaper drinks.

The seats in the stalls aren't sooo small...not sure about the others...maybe it's the short arm rests...don't panic.
