Expected a bigger, better-stocked produce section (especially in summer), but it was passable. After many visits, it seems staff are either happy/upbeat/friendly OR dark/surly/don't-bug-me. Odd, that.

More expensive than Whole Foods. Ordering at the VegetarianCafe counter is pure chaos. Came home w/ food I didn't order. Totally done with this faux co-op east-end yuppie haven.

I don't believe in the word "organic" because it's really just a marketing ploy used to charge more money for the product. But the products are super fresh.
Local organic vegetables are nice and don't mind paying for quality but won't buy much here as out of the way and most items not worth what is being charged.
