Lemur tour is worth the wait. Gorillas are great as well.

The zoo is ok. The views of CBD and circular quay are better. However, the chicken burrito at the food market is horrible. It’s like chipotle’s ugly cousin with an IQ of 20...inedible congealed mess!

This zoo is in such a prime position. Not only can you see the animals but you can also enjoy the views of the harbour.

Brinh your own drinks :: water is $4.50 a bottle, fizzy is $5 for 600ml.. Amazing zoo and all but that's more expensive than the ski fields.

If you plan on coming here a few times a year, grab a zoo pass. I bring my son here quite a bit and it's well worth the investment

Bring your own food. Animals are great. Food bordering on inedible. And wear very comfy shoes. It's a lot of walking.

Roar 'N Snore!Probably the best way to spend an evening in Sydney, glamping on the harbour, drinking wine, watching the sunset, night walk of the zoo followed by an early morning feeding session.

Someone says here in tips that Taronga is just a tourist trap. I COMPLETELY disagree. Check out the bird and seal shows. Will wow you every time!
