ᴡ KershnerOttobre 6, 2017Being one of the older, established vineyards in Northern VA, Tarara delivers some of the best wines (especially reds) in the area. There's very few that come close, IMO.
The facility is kind of over the top, but the wine is undeniably good, and perhaps the best you’ll find in the area.

Heather McCaffertyOttobre 19, 2018Tarara wine is wonderful but customer needed to pay for 6 or 9 wines to taste. Couldn't chose which wines to taste. I tasted at several wineries, & never experienced such inflexible service.

Steve KingSettembre 13, 2010I have friends who love Tarara. I think most of their wines are just okay. Their Charval is their best, IMO. Nice location, great views, good summer concerts.
sweetpearacerSettembre 24, 2015$10 tastings cannot be beat. Bottles are pricey. Try the Killer Cluster riesling.
Saturday evening concerts at the lake. $15 per person bring a picnic and drink some wine while listening to live music.
