Make sure you go to the real Tamarack building, not the Tavel plaza. If you see Starbucks, you aren't in the right building. Tamarack has phenomenal handmade gifts; not tacky stuff. $$ but worth it.

What an awesome idea - have a store that sells only items made in that state! I didn't eat there, but the whole place was clean and friendly, with some really nice merchandise made by local artists.

Prepared by Greenbrier Resort Chefs in Cafeteria setting. Trout is a local favorite. Hot Wilted Spinach Saladfor me- heat, acid, sweetness, and fat with bacon crunch. Delicious. Closes 8PM.

Quickest meal on a road trip, and better than I would have ever guessed. Delicious!!! Trout, green beans with mushrooms, and roasted potatoes. Highly recommend!

It is NOT a food court. It is a cafeteria style restaurant. Items do change with the season. The Greenbrier sells their ice cream and coffee and tea.

Nice clean stop. Very expensive arts and crafts. Local cuisine. Panini and fried green tomato sandwich were good.

This little Starbucks at the travel plaza section probably had the most friendly staff and I've been to Starbucks across the east coast and Puerto Rico ha.

Eat in the food court inside the tamarack - catered by the Greenbier Hotel - the rainbow trout and mashed potatoes w/gravy are to die for!!

The bathrooms are clean and nice. To be a food court, the food was really good. Everyone was super friendly and helpful.

Great place to stop. Make sure to try the BBQ sandwich, its awesome! My father in law was one of the architects.

Don't bother unless you are over 50 or a hippie. The "restaurant" IS essentially a food court, similar to a theme park or ikea dining hall. Food looked good, but overpriced, but the atmosphere.

The bathrooms are cleaner than surrounding facilities and food court is sufficient. They do have a pet area, but I wish it were larger.

Travel plaza has only Starbucks for miles. Very busy in early morning. Be prepared to wait.
