Derek T. KuAgosto 18, 2017Takesushi has extremely pleasant and warm service! Servers were always quick to refill my tea and the sushi chef finessed the 10 pieces of sushi artfully. Definitely coming back.

Wailana WongFebbraio 1, 2023Most of the fish is flown in from Japan and is high quality. The grilled cod which my bf and I shared was life changing. This is a homey, authentic Japanese restaurant and not fancy but so good!

Fish is fresh and at very reasonable prices. Staff is very friendly!

Some say owner/chef Robin Kawada opened the 1st sushi restaurant in Manhattan in 1975! In addition to this Queens outpost, Kawada owns a 15-seater in Japan. Too legit to quit.
