Nothing beats lunch at the fish markets. My fave is the grilled fish and salad from fresh market cafe BBQ grill. Kingfish, John dory and gemfish always superb. also do great grilled seafood platters.

Sauces, dips, marinades, cheeses, coffee, chocolate, pasta, icecreams and good Asian selection - Blackwattle Deli is one of my favourite delis in Sydney

Largest (and ugliest) Fish Market in the Southern Hemisphere. Go early and move fast cause if the weather is nice, it will be heaving!!!

Great greengrocer - lots of specialist niche fruits and veggies - everything made easy for an inner-city cook. Even the garlic is peeled!

Place is relatively clean. Got there around 10AM on a weekday and it wasn’t too packed. Sydney Rock Oysters tasted fresh but were on the puny side. The cooked shrimps were not deveined so felt nasty.

Come here at 4pmish. If ure lucky, u can get 3 platters of lobsters, calamari, prawns salad n baby octopus for $30 only!! Aweeesome bargain!

DO NOT EAT OUTSIDE. Even if the weather is nice. the seagulls are aggressive they will attack you for food.

Tried the seafood at Nicholas's. Prawns and scallops were very sweet! Oysters were good but not the best.

Good to buy fish, bad to eat in any of the cafes. Very underwhelming, with most items are precooked so nothing is freshly prepared on order
