    Go and watch a game. It was a blast. You will be insulted if you're an opposing team supporter (NYC FC in this case) so have a sense of humor. The park was nice and had a great selection of beer!!

    Great stadium right be the river with a great atmosphere. Driving to it is easy, plenty of parking , easy to get in and out.

    Very good experience as a visiting fan. The visiting section may hit you with a bit of sun though, so wear sunglasses & sunscreen.

    Philadelphia’s PPL Park is home to the Philadelphia Union, the first Major League Soccer Club in the region. The park also offers beautiful views of the Delaware River!

    Smoking is allowed only in the Smoking Area set up on the exterior plaza, accessible through the Southwest Gate. Smoking is prohibited in the seating bowl as well as the concourse and restrooms.

    The boddington's stand by the river end is the only good beer in this area. But if the lady is pouring that poured opening day '12, you'll be waiting a while. Someone needs to learn how to multitask.

    Itching to get to your seats? The Club & Suite entrance opens 90 min. prior to kick off for premium seat holders, while all other gates open 1 hour prior. Toyota Plaza opens 2 hours before kick off.

    They have a cool service called TheUnionDirect that lets you order food and drinks from your mobile phone. If you don't have a smartphone you have to create an account beforehand, but it's worth it.

    Why is that big steel structure staring at us? That's the Commodore Barry Bridge hovering over PPL Park. Passengers use it to travel over the Delaware River from Pennsylvania to New Jersey and back.
