Hole in the wall with delicious Mayan/Yucatan food. Family run. Everything is made to order and they're popular so not super fast - if you're in a hurry call you order in ahead of time.
Indian street food. Fun environment, delicious food... not your typical "americanized" indian food. They have another location down on Division.
Another delicious Indian food restaurant, also not standard "americanized" fare. Fancier than Bollywood Theater.
Uber Portlandey bruch spot. Good food, well decorated, typically don't have to wait for a table.
Such good sushi. They're locally owned but have locations in the Pearl, SE, etc. The one in SE is consistently the best, but they're all yummy.
Yummy tamales. Casual, pretty quick. Can sit either in the restaurant, on the patio, or at the Fizzy Wine place next door.
Right next door to Tamale Boy. All different flavors of fizzy wines and meads.
Solid NW bistro fare. Ben's favorite place - he loves their roasted chicken.
Delicious wood-fired pizzas. Also, has by far the best gluten-free crust in PDX - some how they made it stretchy and bubbly!
Excellent, authentic thai food. It's the front-room of Lang Baan, the gourmet thai dining experience with a 6 month wait list.
Super fancy for a thai restaurant. Hidden in the back of PaaDee. Typically have to book 6mo in advance, but can put your name on the Yelp Table wait list, and snag a spot if someone cancels.
