- Flying from the A terminal but have plenty of time? You should walk 10 mind down to the B terminal for many more choices.
- Just made A-List Preferred on SouthwestAir. Usually I'm holding my breath in December to get airlines status. It's only June 7. Yikes!
- Imboss_eOttobre 17, 2012Check out Peet's in terminal A. Great coffee and exceptional customer service !

- Keith QuebodeauxAgosto 16, 2013Don't eat at the Gordon Biersch in the terminal. Gave me wrong sandwich and then gave it to a guy down the bar AFTER I ate two home fries and touched the sandwich. Bfast sandwich almost inedible.
- Kilamon K'lmalNovembre 5, 2011Power outlets in the chairs are a great idea, but many are a poor fit, being loose. The GFC is faulty on some, too.
- Other than Thanksgiving travel this airport is super easy getting in and out if A+
- Massage chairs, y'all. What better way to destress before a flight. Gates 10 and 13, $5 for 30 minutes!
- One of the good airports... Loads of options for coffee
- Waiting for your bag? Kill some time checking out the SatCAM, just under the escalator near the information booth.
- Adrian LGiugno 14, 2016If you're heading to Silicon Valley, fly here whenever possible instead of busy, congested SFO.
- John AllenMarzo 23, 2012Make sure you eat before getting here. Not many options except $12 turkey sandwich!
- Karthik BalajiOttobre 16, 2012V small airport !! Nothing much to.. Minimal security check lines.. If you are in hurry, this is the airport to be :) haha!!
- Come early! There is only one security check in area in this airport so the line is very long.
- Cool airport. It is small, but it has good food places.
- If you're going through Terminal A, stop by Una Mas! for a pretty darn good carnitas burrito!
- If you're so inclined, there's a meditation room right at the end of Concourse B (just before the connection to A)
- New terminal is very nice and spacious. If you are a SJ Shark fan, go to the Shark Tank bar!
- When using the kiosk for checking in or reprinting your boarding pass, just insert a credit card or your DL instead of inputting your confirmation number. Saves time.
- A breeze compared to SFO if you’re in the South Bay Area
- Mike FinnGiugno 7, 2013There are electrical power outlets at all the seats at the gates in the Southwest Terminal. No more Drop kicking the nice old lady trying to steal the last outlet to get your charge on.
- Peet's Coffee and Tea is the best. They have yummy chocolate croissants.
- Did you arrange a shuttle ahead of time? Head for #10 (pre-arranged vehicle) NOT #2 (door to door shuttle).
- When boarding, hang on to the boarding pass for the connecting flight when you give the boarding pass for your first flight to the gate agent!!! LOL
- Traveling with Southwest? Check out the e-cloud: 1000s of switchable glass squares suspended from the ceiling that change from opaque to transparent w/the transmission of real-time weather data!
- Samuel BowlesAgosto 30, 2014The car rental drop-off is a good distance from the terminal and requires a bus shuttle.
- Rental car Short cut: Don't follow Ground Transportation Signs~ as soon as you walk through the security exit veer left to Ticketing escalator. Go downstairs and walk outside to bus stop where Rental
