The former home and studio of Pieter Paul Rubens, one of Belgium's greatest painters, was designed by Rubens himself. Since 1946, it serves as a museum, showcasing a.o. Rubens's famous self-portrait.
This is a great museum to discover who really Rubens was. It gives you an idea of the reason Rubens can be considered one of the firsts "rockstars" among painters.
