Hakeem BilalDicembre 30, 2016Petworth gem! They roast their own coffee on site and the baristas are efficient in this small shop on Georgia Ave. Drip coffee sometimes leaves more to be desired but the pour overs are worth it!

No corner cutting.- Serves a selection of micro-roasted coffees and yummy scones. Stick with hot coffee; the iced is cold brew only and it's sold at an unjustified premium.
Soy decaf latte hits the spot. Also, check out the sitting area in the back. A small piece of paradise on Georgia Avenue.

Strict about laptop policies, know b4 going to do work. Get coffees as pour over when described as a spice or intense fruit flavor e.g. clove or blueberry. They really do have that taste, no joke!
If you're not sure which beans are right for you, ask Joel The Roastmonkey for some advice. He'll be happy to help you out.
The coffee is great, of course, but I could eat nothing but the salty oat cookies for the rest of my life and be very happy.

Really good single-origin coffee. Go when the Wi-Fi is turned off; less busy.
Get the scones and get them warned. Their house brew is incredible!

- You can get COLD brewed coffee - just pick a bean, and they'll grind and then cold brew it fresh.

Love the tea! And bob, they don't use HOMERUN. As soon as they found out they left those jerks.
Remember to check out the back patio, and watch out for tigers!
Buy a bag of freshly roasted coffee ($10). Ask Joel about the difference between a City + and a Full City roast.
- Drink a hand poured African coffee. Ask Joel about the roast.
Get a cold brewed iced coffee. Amazing, and one of the only coffee shops in the city that makes it this way.
