Best exchange rate for € or $ I found was at UniCredit Bank at lower level. Avoid currency exchange kiosks.And like everyone mentioned, taxis are sleazy and will overcharge.

If you have tickets, go to the platforms level and check the board for your train. It won’t show up on the screen until 15 minutes before the train leaves.

Relax/wait in the CD Lounge on the platform floor if you have a 1st Class EU Rail pass. Padded seats, heated room & free wi-fi.

Be careful about the pickpockets. Don't trust any one offering good exchange rate. They never give you Czech money if you don't know the notes.

if u have to get the airport express (AE) take the elevator and exit through the old station. The stop is on your left. The drivers accept only kc (50) and are also pretty unpleasant.

Free Wifi is the only plus here as you better not need help the staff is rude and most who will help you they may pick your pockets. Supermarket on site and visit the old station if you have time

Don't exchange your money at the station! I exchanged 400 Euros, they took around 70 Euros as service charge! It's better to wait until you're in town..

Don't trust the change offices, you ask the rate they confirm, and then they make you sign a small bill hidden under their hand and then they say you just confirmed their commision. Gay!

Exchange offices at the railway station have 10-20% commission. If you need money exchange, take a walk to Muzeum subway station (5-7 minutes).

La espera para saber el anden del que partía el tren a Viena se hizo eterna. Avisaron solamente 8 minutos antes de la salida. Lo demás, bien. Una estación grande, con muchas tiendas.

If you need change for the metro there is a change machine in the baggage locker area that takes 100 or 200 CZD.

Come arrivare

Dnešní železniční stanice Praha hlavní nádraží byla uvedena do provozu v roce 1871 jako Nádraží císaře Františka Josefa na Dráze císaře Františka Josefa z Vídně přes České Budějovice a Benešov do Prahy. V letech 1919-40 a 1945-53 nesla název Praha Wilsonovo nádraží.
