- Harlem AmbassadorGiugno 21, 2013They have renovated yet again! Let's hope that Fish patties and Lamb shank stay on the menu. It reflects the mix of Afro\Franco\American that this place has come to rep. Many fine pastries and cafes.
- NiaLuglio 30, 2018Make your presence known immediately when you first come in. Make sure your order is clear before and after you receive it. You will enjoy your meal. I received the correct croissant this time.
- The Corcoran GroupAprile 30, 2012We love to stop in here for a quick Egg Sandwich, the best Almond Croissant and a coffee. If you want to have a more formal meal, try the Yoff Kebab or the Grilled Lamb Chops.
- Gayla BestAgosto 16, 2016OMG!!!! That's all i have to say. This place is AMAZING! Lambshanks are to die for. Melt in your mouth deliciousness! I will be back there very soon. I hope the Chef is working on that cookbook
- Tasha MulrainAprile 5, 2015I love the food here. Everything smells great as soon as you walk in. The fact that it's self serve is also a plus. I can really see myself coming here again.
- The food was ridiculously amazing. Service is a tad but slow but the food more than makes up for it. And the prices are fair. Get the grilled tilapia. Your life will be better.
- L CMaggio 16, 2014West African food in Harlem, but of course! waitstaff and their accents, aroma of deliciousness and pleasant surprises on the menu! Choose your liking at the moment.
- Kat YuSettembre 20, 2013The tagine was delicious, as was the peanut stew. Also, the pepper spread is yummy with the bread, but eat it sparingly, and with the mayonnaise- it's really hot!
- Tresa ChambersOttobre 4, 2013Had chicken kebabs, salad and plantains. All delish. Kebabs came with an onion sauce that had great flavor. Server suggested ordering the sauce warm next time. I will.
- DeShaun HarrisMaggio 24, 2011My s.o. and I love this spot. Grilled lamb chops are best & come in a huge portion size (we split it) Unfortunately for my waistline, it costs only $12 so it's hard to resist having it too often :-)
- Foad TorshiziOttobre 5, 2015The steak au poivre was really small and extra-well-done, while we asked for medium rare. Crème brûlée was small too for $5.5. The lamb chop, however, is really good and sizable.
- Fatima EsanwaAprile 28, 2014The grilled lamb chops and shrimp kebab were amazing. If you love spicy food, this is the place for you.. go Senegalese!
- Serious EatsOttobre 11, 2013A popular neighborhood restaurant and boulangerie with great croissants, pastry, and outdoor seating.
- Jamil ToureAprile 13, 2012Awesome "real" French bakery & cafe owned by Senegalese family. #Buttery, crispy, ethereal croissants.. almond, chocolate, plain.. authentically delicious! Not bad coffee either.
- LANAgosto 16, 2010I've only had their lamb shawarma because its one of the top shawarmas I have had! Right up there with Mamouns on MacDougal st, but a more wrapped up neat style to it
- Loida ValentinMaggio 8, 2015One of many great visits. Keep an eye on the specials and visit the bakery next door.
- Marty MarSettembre 12, 2011Wow this coffee is amazing. Ordered the lamb sausage sandwich and was equally blown away. Has to be a serious Harlem Top 5
- Marcus SamuelssonLuglio 26, 2010My first tip on foursquare: Great Senegalese place for a quick bite. Try the Robespierre sandwich with lamb and put the hot souse on the side. Leggi tutto
- Kirsten K. KesterSettembre 25, 2013Great food..! Nice service. A bit cramped if entering with a wheelchair; but manageable...
- Yanzy BearDicembre 20, 2015Sorry no pic. Les sandwich #lambmerguez was so good. Just the right portion..
- Nicholas GarberSettembre 10, 2012Great french croissants and espresso, excellent Senegalese food! Try it!
- EricaSettembre 12, 2014Service is pretty awful, but it's a great place if you want to sit and relax for a while (while your server ignores you)!
- lamb sandwich is to die for. great cupcakes too. Brought my s.o. here once for lamb chops, she loved them!
- Citizen XAgosto 8, 2012Careful, West African food is sometimes very spicy while being very delicious at the same time.
- Ms. Dee BellGiugno 3, 2012I don't know why I waited so long to try this place. I'd heard they have great coffee and croissants but the service left something to be desired. The coffee was great as was fresh squeezed OJ. Slow.
- Village VoiceGennaio 3, 2011They brought Mixed Seafood Fried Rice and International Mafé (Peanut Stew) to Choice Eats
- Burleise BaileyMaggio 28, 2010getting the almond croissant toasted with a latte is a great start to anyone's morning
- Grace LNovembre 25, 2012Just grab & go; don't sit down. Baked goods are delicious, but service is painfully slow. Some of the worst I've ever experienced.
- Zwan Chandon DidierGiugno 2, 2014The hot sauce is so bad it's good. I'd never mix it with the ginger drink though I know someone who can/does. Nice place!
