The best butcher shop around Brooklyn heights, Carroll gardens, Clinton hill, gowanus... great quality, good prices, and they sell every animal/cut you can imagine.

the 30-day aged, bone-in shell steaks are excellent value for $12.99/lb. get 'em 2" thick, marinate in soy sauce and grill on highest possible heat for 8 min per side. charred outside, rare inside.

The best butcher in NYC. The porterhouse is always a crowd pleaser. The wild game sausages are a nice treat as well.
Huge selection of awesome cold cut sandwiches. Paisanos hero weighs two lbs. Don't overthink it...all of them are great. All the marinated meats are great for an easy dinner.
If you're getting a sandwich, stay by the front half of the counter near the door. The back half is for people getting meaty treats to cook elsewhere.

Di Parma and The Paisano sandwiches will not disappoint. Best selection of meats, sausages, and Italian goods in the hood.
If you just describe what you're making, they'll hook you up with all the right cuts. I still don't actually know what part of the cow a brisket is.
You want it, they've got it. Elk, emu, camel, antelope, rattlesnake, gator, boar, kangaroo...
Octopuses are supposed to be very intelligent – but I'm glad that they're not so intelligent that they avoid ending up in Paisanos's octopus salad, because it is delicious!
Only butcher shop I have seen in Brooklyn with Bachalla. Worth the line out the door on Fridays

Best meat place locally - great cuts, sausages & poultry. Great fresh pastas and sauces, as well as stocks & rendered fats for cooking.

Ask for a frequent buyer card. You'll use it. A lot.
