The strip between the first interchange and the World Trade Center is lively. Many hotels, cafes and restaurants on both sides of the highway.
Great addition to Bay Avenue. Wide range of salad and sandwich options, you get to choose your combination.
Trek shop rents bikes for AED 40 for 1 hour and AED 70 for the whole day. Closes at 10pm but you can keep the bike and drop it off to security if you finish riding after 10.
Massive portions and decent service. Definitely very good value for money. Tried the Hyderabadi chicken biryani and it was really good. Comes with yogurt and veggies on the side

Newest branch of the French cafe chain in Dubai. Good food and service, already quite busy at lunch time. Limited number of seats available indoors
The cycling track was less than the 8k claimed (according to my Garmin it was around 7.5). It's still a good course though, only wish they fixed the broken lights
Sharjah's own waterfront promenade is great. Several cafe and restaurant options with outdoor and indoor seating. Recommended for families and groups. Also has a good jogging track
Get a category 1 ticket (was AED 50 when I went for a league game). Better seats, better view and you don't miss out on the atmosphere.

If it's not showing here then it's unlikely to be showing anywhere else. Many screens and movie options. Queues for refreshments can be long and slow moving though so give yourself plenty of time.
Pretty much everything they offer is good. One of the oldest establishments in Dubai. Personal recommendation: Hommus, shawarmas and manakeesh

Massive Saturday brunch with a big emphasis on seafood. As someone who's not big on brunches and buffets, it easy worth it. Good for big groups and gatherings
Quick service, wasn't crowded when I visited (lunch time on a weekday). This is one of the chicken pasta dishes they had (forgot its name though!). Good value for money, as usual
Great for delivery and take out, dine-in at lunch time can be frustrating as this branch gets really busy. Excellent dishes as usual though. This is the "Zooza Salad".
Excellent food. Tried the chicken halloum sandwich and the yama (spelling?) cake. Both were great. Will definitely go again in future trips to Bahrain
